Seventy-five years ago, 18-year-old Herman J. Senn Jr. saw a gold rush of cars around him needing repair and thought, if he just had his own shop, all those repairs could be his. So he opened Senn’s Body and Paint Shop in 1949 in Louisville, Ky., and the rest, as they say, is history.
For 75 years, the secret to Senn’s success has been their dedicated employees providing honest, trustworthy repairs. Rusty Tucker and his wife, Marie (Senn) Tucker, now manage the original Senn’s Body & Paint Shop at 3700 Cane Run Rd. Herman J. Senn III manages the Senn’s of Middletown in Middletown, Ky. Since Senn’s 50th anniversary, they’ve added a third location, Auto Collision Center by Senn’s in Louisville, which is managed by Charlie Senn’s daughter, Jessica (Senn) Green, and her husband Tony Green. Gerard Senn serves as the controller for all three locations.
