Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects announced the additions of Jenifer Batchelder as director of marketing and Cari Walls as director of interior and corporate architecture.

The firm said that each brings more than 25 years of experience to their respective roles.

“We’re thrilled to have Jenifer and Cari join the MAA family and are confident their expertise, passion for architecture and design, and strong leadership will lead our firm in growth and achieve continued success,” MAA President Milton Anderson said in a statement.

Batchelder joins with over 25 years of marketing experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

The firm said her expertise lies in steering cross-functional teams towards successful execution, elevating brand presence, and managing comprehensive customer relationship management systems. In her new role, Batchelder is responsible for leading the firm’s strategic marketing initiatives.

Walls come to MAA from her previous role as principal and founder of MDW Studio, an architecture and interior design studio in Dallas.

Walls began her design career at Omniplan where she served as principal leadership for the firm’s interior architecture practice. In 2011, Walls co-founded MDW Studio, working with a wide range of commercial, residential, and arts and culture architecture and design projects. Walls now leads MAA’s interior design and corporate architecture teams. In this role, she works closely with clients, consultants, and the MAA design teams to oversee and execute interior and corporate architecture projects.

MAA offers programming, urban planning, architectural design, space planning, interior architecture/design, graphic design, construction document production, construction observation, 3-D visualization, and facilities move coordination.

With offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and Charlotte, North Carolina, MAA provides services to clients on a national and international basis, emphasizing repeat clients as the heart of its practice.
